YOUR CLASSY FUNKY CROSSROADS-KC DESTINATION
Renovated in 2018, this 2700 sq ft stand alone building is set at the North end of the Crossroads. The space is filled with three living room spaces (one 800 sq ft rec room style room and 2 lounging style), high end kitchen with premier appliances, two custom bathrooms, dining room, open style bedroom upstairs(queen bed), triple bedroom downstairs (queen & double bed & large pull out sofa),workout space with sauna and fire pit rooftop sitting area.Your booking will include the entire space to relax, gather, entertain, play and stay! We do require a minimum two (sometimes three) night stay and age 25 and above to book.

This very unique space was built to relax, entertain and enjoy your time with friends and family.
The Big Bay is the entrance shocker! This room is a full mural by local artist Scribe and custom created by himself and KC Dojo llc. KC historical characters and timestamps decorate the walls. This room serves as your "Big Bay" Rec Room. Shuffleboard table, multi-gaming table, mini bar, "Sonic" ice machine, huge sectional and large 70" TV to entertain (Youtube TV included). The big bay "Cabin feel" bathroom is exactly that; you step into a completely different world in this bathroom and enjoy the Italian shower-head with water shooting from every angle. This is a fully equipped ADA bathroom.
The upstairs living area is an open concept set up with two lounging living spaces. The kitchen overlooks it all and is dressed with GE Profile smart appliances and beautiful granite countertops. Coffee is important to us so we have a De'Longhi combo maker and espresso machine for you to enjoy local coffee, Messenger Coffee Co. The upstairs bathroom stuns with a huge Denver jacuzzi tub, heated floors and marble countertops. The "bedroom" is upstairs where the queen bedroom area is located. Dining room area seats up to 8 guests with full plate-wear to accommodate.
Rooftop fire pit is adjacent to the upstairs living rooms. Seating for 8, we welcome you to enjoy a bit of comfort outside while in the heart of the Crossroads.
Back downstairs, the back bedroom is an open concept bedroom sleeping six guests in three beds. Vanity station and sink are there for prep for an evening out. We keep a treadmill and yoga equipment for those that need to sweat a little. Dry sauna is in the big bay to pull off an "executive workout".

You are considering renting a million dollar property with a custom one of a kind mural created by local artist, Scribe, and the KC Dojo ownership. We have bamboo floors throughout the top floor. We have a jacuzzi and sauna big enough to fit two adults. We have equipped it with premier appliance and granite countertops for days. This is not your typical short term rental and we expect our guests to treat the space like you would treat your Grandma's house. If your plans are to throw a party, event, be the drunkest humans in KC or load the space with extra guests, we ask that you look elsewhere. We will ask for a guest list and 60% must be above the age of 25 year. We expect communication and transparency about your plans while there. Once trust has been built, we leave the Dojo in your hands during your stay to enjoy and have fun.

The Crossroads Art District is like no other in Kansas City. We are the city hub of local distilleries, breweries, restaurants and bars. We pride ourselves on doing it different and doing it well. Being a part of this association allows the business owners to work together to create a fluid, safe and exciting environment for our visitors. We want you to wander. We want you to see our graffiti alleys and small business shops. We are fancy with our Christopher Elbow Chocolates and get funky with Grinders Pizza and concerts.

"This is not your typical VRBO. That's exactly why we loved our stay. The place is in the Crossroads District, so there are dozens of restaurants and breweries in walking distance. There are also multiple music venues just blocks away. The main floor is a giant room with a blacklight mural, a large TV, foos ball table and shuffleboard table. Behind this room is a huge bedroom that converts into a gym in the daytime. Finally, there is a gorgeous bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs is another large open space with a fullly-equipped kitchen, dining area, seating area with two large TVs, a comfy bed and a large master bath with jetted tub/shower. Off the back of the second floor is a private rooftop seating area with a firepit. This is a superb place home base for a stay in KC. We look forward to our next opportunity to stay here!" "We visited the Dojo to attend our friends wedding last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! We decided we would rather all stay together instead of getting a hotel and we were so happy we made this decision. The Dojo was so fun and different. The downstairs graffiti was so different and the upstairs kitchen and bathrooms were put together with some of the best appliances. The sauna let us relax before or after our days and although we did not utilize the firepit outside, it was such a fun space! The owners were also so accommodating!" Katie, May 2023.
